I have friends and know nurses whom has pursued a career in this field and done well. They was able to stay home with their children more and make extra income to help support their families. Over the years, I have tried many times to get into this field of work, especially when my boy was a baby. I never could get to my goal of full filling that goal, because of financial or personal reasons. There were always walls and bricks; I would have to over come before I could move on with any kind of education.
Through the years, I have gain knowledge and a few years experience as a Data Entry Operator and have enjoyed the work. I had obtained many skills and experience with those positions and impressed many companies with my speed and accuracy. The medical positions, which is the caregiver / certified nurses assistant / sitter / hospice (home health aid) positions has gave me the opportunity to obtain some medical knowledge, through training and on the job training, over the last 4 years. I have decided to full fill a dream of putting the two careers together and experience and put effort this time to pursue medical transcription jobs. At the age of 41, I have finally realized 20 years later, I should have took action to obtain a better career and took different roads, which could have led to better opportunities in my life time and a rewarding career. By seeing individuals working as a MT, that is one thing which has really inspired me to move forward into the dream of a career which could make a difference in my life and It would differently be something I will enjoy more and more as time goes on. I have supported people whom I have encouraged them to keep moving forward, toward bigger and better things. SN:1SE0V2ESY

Another reason, I want this type of career is I want to stay in the medical field. I really enjoy learning about the different area’s, seeing how things work. My heart is set on helping people in any way I can. The bad thing is my body is wearing out on me because of the Certified Nurses Assistant positions. I am needing to get into the field, which I feel at times, I was meant to do several years ago, but the road was never there. There’s always time left for me to keep pushing forward and my dream is to keep moving ahead and fill like one day I have accomplished, at least one thing in my life, which will be a rewarding move.
